Health Benefits of Almonds in an Athlete's Diet

Not only do almonds provide the nutrition needed for speedy muscle recovery, they also provide some of the nutrients needed to replenish the nervous system after demanding workouts. Almonds are known to improve hearth health, reduce inflammation, and aid in weight loss. Thanks to a unique nutrient profile, almonds are among the most beneficial snacks that athletes can add to their diets.

  • Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Shadow Squad – invitations will go out to those athletes who have demonstrated the commitment and capacity to be selected as a member of the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games ACGA team.
  • Coach Education Program (CEP) – during 2011 AWF State Members will receive  the following payments regarding the delivery of any CEPs delivered within each state - $500 for venue and equipment hire, $150 for the supply of refreshments and $50 for each participant taking part in the CEP.
